With over two decades of experience in engineering and manufacturing sectors, James Foden is an accomplished executive search consultant and business leader. As a former leader of large teams in a global organization and a co-founder of an engineering and manufacturing firm, James has first-hand experience of the challenges involved in finding and hiring the right staff. In 2017, he broadened his horizons and began recruiting across the engineering sector before ultimately being drawn to the utility sector. As an Associate Director and Head of Utilities at TalentWeb, James specializes in connecting talented individuals and employers in the private and public sectors for permanent or contract positions. He has a well-established network of key players in industries such as Renewables, Energy, Water, and Wastewater. James has successfully placed a number of technical to senior executive roles in the water and utility sector, including Chief Executive of a Water Authority, General Manager of Operations and Engineering for a Water Authority and Manufacturer respectively, Technical Director of Environment and Sustainability for a Hydropower Developer and Investment Fund, and various project, construction, and engineering roles for water, energy, and infrastructure clients.
